Valentine gets married

It's just on the show- and I can't tell you who Im marrying- but yes it was a lot of fun and I was not a bridezilla.  Ive been a bridesmaid so many times in real life that I felt pretty confident in my method acting skills....

well... that is until the beer arrived.
Autumn tells the lakin paparazzi to back off!  Just kidding.  Im pretty sure it was a dance move.
Kris and Autumn prepare with US Weekly.
Nick Nick (from Dog Sees God!) and I take a break on set with some pitchers of fake beer.  Mmmm... nothing says tuesday like warm, flat, fake beer.

LA Girls nights

My Georgia girls out in LA for dinners, drinks and lots of laughs...  my favorite things!  Bec came out in Sept to help her sister Mary Lorraine move and lucky us, after hanging out on set, the Valentine hair and makeup department got us ready for a night out!  I even curled Bec's hair (mad skills yo) and ML got the full movie star treatment.

Then Amy Kennedy flew in from NYC and we had a great time at Katana...
Mimosa Jones, me and Brad Dean pose in the lobby
The gang squeezes together.. typically more drinks than people at the table

Valentine rolls on

We are already into episode 7 of Valentine and having a fabulous time- even with all the exhaustion and delirium!  Who says random fits of giggles at 3am aren't fun?  Jaime Murray and I discuss the value of 3 hours of sleep...
Oh no, watch out.  Robert Baker is back with a new album folks.  "Me and Everything About It". Just kidding, its really for our Karaoke episode where we all sing the oldie but annoyingly goodie, "That's The Look".  (But come on, Robert's solo album would be pretty genius too right?)
The L.A. Lakins.  My "suits" L-R, Aaron Kogan, Adam Kaller and Gordon Gilbertson.  Join the Team.  You'll feel better about yourself.
Hanging out with our new co-star Noa!
The writers hard at work...
The boyz of Valentine showing the love
Robert and Kris contemplate my photography abilities.
Ryan Devlin!  Our guest star in episode three.  He was lovely.
Myself, Holly Valance (as Amelia Earheart), and Kris Polaha - the eyeliner was a character choice.  But I think he liked it too.
Me and Robert Baker out and about
Self portrait of me and makeup artist Deb... yes my hair is transmitting radio waves.  Believe me, I've heard them all.

Emerson invades Valentine

Emerson and her mom Rebecca came out for a visit a few weeks ago and spent time hanging out on set with me.  We had so much fun and everyone talked about how cute and sweet Miss Em was.  She is getting so big and will be walking before we know it!  I think she could get used to set life- lots of attention, lots of interesting food and fun places to crawl and get dirty. (stage floors are not so clean we discovered)  Here she is relaxing in front of her trailer...

This episode featured a Bollywood wedding and dance number so here I am in my costume- I love it!
Jaime Murray and I show off our moves
Emerson was impressed but she had to get back to the trailer to roll some calls....
After all the rehearsal and craft service, TV life can get tiring!  Time for a face plant nap.
Aunt Stinky loves you little cutie pie!
We even found time to hit the town one night for my friend Joel's engagement party. (Cheers!)
Gigi was on hand too to share in the love
That is, when her blackberry didn't beckon her back to work...
We stopped by Burbank Bar and Grill to see our friends Randy and Corri play their weekly gig.  They even did a few originals from their "Brokedown Cadalliac" set.  They were awesome.
So much fun!  Cant wait to have Bec and Em return!

Life around Valentine

We are into our second episode already and its flying by.  Filming out at LA Center studios most of the time (except when on location), which is right in the heart of downtown LA.  Here is out base camp set up outside of stage one, aka where we spend most of our downtime hanging out.

Lovely skyline of LA.  And a dude watering plants.
Robert Baker prepares for a scene as the chaos surrounds him.
The ever lovely Jaime Murray... probably wondering why Im being creepy taking her picture...

Valentine Days...

We are already into our 3rd week of shooting and time is flying by!  Have a fantastic time working- here are a few pictures from the first episode where my character Kate fantasizes she is the heroine in her romance novel, "Love and Deviltry".

So ridiculous huh?
And of course, every heroine needs a Fabio like love interest!

VALENTINE on the CW!

I'm excited to announce that I've just been cast in a brand new show for the CW called "Valentine".  It's an hour-long, romantic comedy from creator Kevin Murphy (Desperate Housewives, Reaper) that focuses on mythological gods and goddesses of love and war. I play Kate Providence, a (human) romance novelist who stumbles upon a mysterious woman (Jaime Murray) and ends up being enlisted to help her and her mythological brood put soul mates together.  We will start airing mid-September so keep an eye out for it!

The cast is a lot of fun- Jaime (Dexter), Kris Polaha (Miss Guided), Robert Baker (Leatherheads), Greg Ellis (Pirates of the Caribbean, 24) and Autum Reeser (The O.C.).  Since I don't have any pictures from set yet (we just started this week) here's a dorky one of my in my trailer playing around with photo booth
And a picture of some gorgeous congratulatory flowers!!
I'll update as more is announced!
