Emerson invades Valentine

Emerson and her mom Rebecca came out for a visit a few weeks ago and spent time hanging out on set with me.  We had so much fun and everyone talked about how cute and sweet Miss Em was.  She is getting so big and will be walking before we know it!  I think she could get used to set life- lots of attention, lots of interesting food and fun places to crawl and get dirty. (stage floors are not so clean we discovered)  Here she is relaxing in front of her trailer...

This episode featured a Bollywood wedding and dance number so here I am in my costume- I love it!
Jaime Murray and I show off our moves
Emerson was impressed but she had to get back to the trailer to roll some calls....
After all the rehearsal and craft service, TV life can get tiring!  Time for a face plant nap.
Aunt Stinky loves you little cutie pie!
We even found time to hit the town one night for my friend Joel's engagement party. (Cheers!)
Gigi was on hand too to share in the love
That is, when her blackberry didn't beckon her back to work...
We stopped by Burbank Bar and Grill to see our friends Randy and Corri play their weekly gig.  They even did a few originals from their "Brokedown Cadalliac" set.  They were awesome.
So much fun!  Cant wait to have Bec and Em return!

British invasion

One of my best friends, Alex was out here on holiday (as they say) and we were up to our usual no good... martini's at Nic's, pizza nights at Casa B, laying out by the pool with pina colodas... simply divine.

Marty and Inda count the rent
Corri avoids the paparazzi glare of my camera... but randy soaks it up with an Olen Mills pose..? hmm...  Also known as the corri and randy of Brokedown Cadalliac.  Yes, I just named dropped.  Deal with it.
Me and miss alex.  Cheers!

Life around Valentine

We are into our second episode already and its flying by.  Filming out at LA Center studios most of the time (except when on location), which is right in the heart of downtown LA.  Here is out base camp set up outside of stage one, aka where we spend most of our downtime hanging out.

Lovely skyline of LA.  And a dude watering plants.
Robert Baker prepares for a scene as the chaos surrounds him.
The ever lovely Jaime Murray... probably wondering why Im being creepy taking her picture...

Whiffler: The Ted Whitfield Story

I'd be remiss if I didn't blog about this great mocumentary I did last month- "Whiffler: The Ted Whitfield Story".  Its about Ted Whitfield, (played by the talented Ross Patterson) the greatest whiffle ball player that ever lived and I play Kiki, the wife to his partner and best friend Willie (the awesome Joey Kern).  These pics are from the filming of our drive-thru wedding.  And yes, that's a real cherry Trans Am.  I seriously loved it.  Tommy Reid was a fantastic director and we probably had too much fun.

Look closely- I'm missing a few nails.  But I do think my wedding dress is pretty rad.
I want this car.  We had the BEST time making this movie- it was one of those great experiences as an actor where you really have so much creative freedom to play and such awesome, talented people to play off of and improv with.  Too much fun.  I can't wait to see it.

Valentine Days...

We are already into our 3rd week of shooting and time is flying by!  Have a fantastic time working- here are a few pictures from the first episode where my character Kate fantasizes she is the heroine in her romance novel, "Love and Deviltry".

So ridiculous huh?
And of course, every heroine needs a Fabio like love interest!
