Holiday Get-2-Getherzzz

Thanksgiving is fun.. Especially when you have like three dinners to attend.  Heres some pics of my turkey, a la Martha Stewart, before and afters!  I think even though my Thanksgiving was the last, I still cranked out a pretty good stuffed bird.

The gang got together at Corris for a family feast Thanksgiving day....  Kara and I sampled the margaritas pre dinner.

And finally, nothing says Thanksgiving than a good ole gathering at P Hilton's house with my H&N co-star Joel and his fiancee Karen.  We cut a rug, burned some holiday calories and had a great time.

The Hottie and Nottie Premiere

Yeah, I know it was a few months ago but seeing as how it comes out on dvd on May 6th, 

I thought Id rehash some fun photos from the premiere here in LA in February.  

My mom and dad were out for the weekend, which was filled with lots of press interviews and junkets... fun stuff but also a lot of sitting in one room answering the same questions for 12 hours.  Sort of strange too trying to find a different way to answer the same question!  

I was in a lovely suite at the Regent Beverly Wilshire (Pretty Woman hotel anyone?) and my parents and I had a great dinner there before the madness of the premiere began.  I was so happy to have all my best friends and family there with me... 

I had such a fun night and I will never forget it!

Hottie and Nottie Punk Hollywood

Yo Nottie...

The Hottie and the Nottie hit theaters earlier this month and I had a whirlwind of a time promoting it.  Before our weekend press junket Paris and I fulfilled a long-awaited jaunt into Hollywood for a night on the town in my "Nottie" makeup.  It was an idea we had since we started filming over a year ago and finally got the chance to do it so I headed over to my amazing make up artist's house, Randy Westgate, who made me into June Phigg for the night.  Our costume designer Christopher Lawrence was kind enough to lend me June's dress from the film- a hideous brown number complete

 with a fugly hat and shoes!  June had the best Wednesday of her life.  We had a blast- no one knew what to think, from the ever-present press that follows Paris around, to people on the street to folks inside the clubs-- we had an absolute blast and I loved watching the utter confusion on everyone's faces!  Hollywood is such a fake town at times so engaging in an ultimate Punk'd like this was a fantastic social experiment.  We laughed all night-  haven't had this much fun since the stupid stuff I used to do in college... ha!  

(I love that a certain website apparently bagged on our outing... only to then replay as fodder on their website and TV show over and over...  just so we're clear- we had tons of fun... so who was had? :)

Sundance 2008

Sundance!!  The time of the year when all of Hollywood and their Blackberry's invade a peaceful little mountain town all in the name of independent film, networking and undiscovered new talent... and, let's be honest, the occasional late night party, shwag bag and half day of skiing!  I arrived early last Saturday to a gorgeous snow covered Main Street and after checking into a great lodge in Deer Valley, immediately jumped right in the bustle of the fest. 

I met up with the cast and director Tom Hines of "Chronic Town" for the premiere at The Library.  The traffic was so bad on the little 2-lane road that I almost missed it!  It's a gorgeous dark comedy about substance abuse in Alaska.  Light stuff huh? Had some interviews to do and then hit a few fun parties that even

Sunday was a big day as I had lots of press to do for "The Hottie

 and the Nottie" which began in the morning at the Queer Brunch.  All my gays were there sipping mimosas and I was thoroughly

 excited to meet- yes- Todd, last seasons Survivor winner.  Loved it!  

That night Regent hosted a gorgeous dinner for us at the Riverhorse restaurant prepared for us by none other Iron Chef Cat Cora.  It was beyond delicious and after some press and photo ops with my co-stars Paris and Johann, we jetted off up the street to see Velvet Revolver- front row! 

 

Being that I was a HUGE Guns n' Roses fan growing up, getting to have Slash play so close he practically sweated on me was one for my 4th grade bucket list.  

Luckily one of my best friends, Rebecca (the pretty redhead from the Atlanta girls posting) let me borrow her husband Sebastian, who was still in town on business and he proved to be a fantastic bodyguard, cab wrangler, sometimes purse holder, et al.  

Not really sure how he ended up holding my purse but pictures do not lie!!  Jolly good English chap he is!  We headed off to the Heineken karaoke lounge where Paris got me up on stage for some good old fashioned Madonna covers.  

I'm fairly certain after all the screaming for Slash I sounded like 

a strangled chicken by that point, but we had a blast and ended the night with a little tube sledding right outside.  A good time had by all!

The next few days were filled with some more interviews, pictures and the like but I did manage to squeeze in a film at the 

Eccles theater called "Anywhere USA" and a fantastic sushi

dinner back at the Heineken lounge.  And finally, I managed to jump into some skis for a few hours and test all the fresh powder on the mountain- talk about my vision of a perfect day! With everyone still sleeping from the festival's late nights, the slopes were practically all mine. Totally, totally awesome.....
