British invasion

One of my best friends, Alex was out here on holiday (as they say) and we were up to our usual no good... martini's at Nic's, pizza nights at Casa B, laying out by the pool with pina colodas... simply divine.

Marty and Inda count the rent
Corri avoids the paparazzi glare of my camera... but randy soaks it up with an Olen Mills pose..? hmm...  Also known as the corri and randy of Brokedown Cadalliac.  Yes, I just named dropped.  Deal with it.
Me and miss alex.  Cheers!

Life around Valentine

We are into our second episode already and its flying by.  Filming out at LA Center studios most of the time (except when on location), which is right in the heart of downtown LA.  Here is out base camp set up outside of stage one, aka where we spend most of our downtime hanging out.

Lovely skyline of LA.  And a dude watering plants.
Robert Baker prepares for a scene as the chaos surrounds him.
The ever lovely Jaime Murray... probably wondering why Im being creepy taking her picture...

Whiffler: The Ted Whitfield Story

I'd be remiss if I didn't blog about this great mocumentary I did last month- "Whiffler: The Ted Whitfield Story".  Its about Ted Whitfield, (played by the talented Ross Patterson) the greatest whiffle ball player that ever lived and I play Kiki, the wife to his partner and best friend Willie (the awesome Joey Kern).  These pics are from the filming of our drive-thru wedding.  And yes, that's a real cherry Trans Am.  I seriously loved it.  Tommy Reid was a fantastic director and we probably had too much fun.

Look closely- I'm missing a few nails.  But I do think my wedding dress is pretty rad.
I want this car.  We had the BEST time making this movie- it was one of those great experiences as an actor where you really have so much creative freedom to play and such awesome, talented people to play off of and improv with.  Too much fun.  I can't wait to see it.

Valentine Days...

We are already into our 3rd week of shooting and time is flying by!  Have a fantastic time working- here are a few pictures from the first episode where my character Kate fantasizes she is the heroine in her romance novel, "Love and Deviltry".

So ridiculous huh?
And of course, every heroine needs a Fabio like love interest!

VALENTINE on the CW!

I'm excited to announce that I've just been cast in a brand new show for the CW called "Valentine".  It's an hour-long, romantic comedy from creator Kevin Murphy (Desperate Housewives, Reaper) that focuses on mythological gods and goddesses of love and war. I play Kate Providence, a (human) romance novelist who stumbles upon a mysterious woman (Jaime Murray) and ends up being enlisted to help her and her mythological brood put soul mates together.  We will start airing mid-September so keep an eye out for it!

The cast is a lot of fun- Jaime (Dexter), Kris Polaha (Miss Guided), Robert Baker (Leatherheads), Greg Ellis (Pirates of the Caribbean, 24) and Autum Reeser (The O.C.).  Since I don't have any pictures from set yet (we just started this week) here's a dorky one of my in my trailer playing around with photo booth
And a picture of some gorgeous congratulatory flowers!!
I'll update as more is announced!

Courage Family goes Hollywood

Have baby, will travel! Rebecca and her husband Sebastian came to LA to celebrate her 30th birthday and brought their adorable 1-year-old Emerson.  I became affectionately known as "Aunt Stinky" and couldn't be happier with that.

The family walking by the Arclight Hollywood after lunch
Em and daddy
Rebecca's big night out at Area (we got a very trustworthy sitter and cut a rug!)  A broken ankle couldn't stop Virginia and Rochelle trekked up from Manhattan Beach to cheers Bec.  A very good time had by all- thank you Lord Courage!!
Nothing like a big birthday breakfast after a night of dancing...
Sweet Emerson in her swing at the Malibu Country Mart.  Shes such a big girl already!
Just the girls having lunch at Art's deli- Emerson eats EVERYTHING!  Its fun to gage her reactions to various foods.  Thanks for lunch bec!
An awesome trip - I cant wait to have you all back again!  Especially my sweet little Em!  Aunt Stinky misses you!

"Dog Sees God"

I just closed an amazing play at the Hudson backstage theater called "Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead".  We ran to great reviews for an extended 8 weeks and had so much fun!
