Race to Witch Mountain! In Vegas!

The Race is on friends!  I was in Vegas filming a part in Disney's "Race to Witch Mountain" and luckily got off work long enough to see one of my best friends, Joe Bwarie, perform as Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys!!  What a treat- he was AMAZING!  (There he is on the bottom row, second from the left)

Judays in Atlanta!

I got to see Jeff and Claci when I was in Atlanta visiting and luckily Jeff was still performing in his musical "Five Course Love", which I went to with my family.  Claci is almost due by now and none of us can wait to meet their little girl!

Im not going to lie... I ate a lot of fried green tomatoes before the show and challenged Claci to a stomach contest.  Pretty sure I won.

Miami Yo!

I was lucky enough to spend a FAAAABULous weekend in Miami (thank you dave grutman!) and bring along two awesome girlfriends, Rochelle and Jen, to share in the fun!

Mom's Birthday

I threw my mom a surprise birthday party in Atlanta last month.  She was shocked and we are still talking about how much fun the party was!  

The cake had her picture on it... 

And we had so much of it we took it over to my Granny (who was in rehab for a broken hip and couldn't make the party) the next day.  Yes, that frosting is as good as it looks.
Even my best Atlantan pal Rebecca came with her husband Sebastian (of Sundance fame).  
Mom got all of the candles in almost one breath- how's that for being in shape??

Vegas baby!

What's a better excuse to go to Vegas with all your friends than a belated birthday party at Jet nightclub?? 

 

I gathered the troops for a one- night only jaunt to Vegas a few weeks ago where we lived it up in a GORGEOUS

 suite at the Mirage, an amazing dinner at Stack and dancing the night away at Jet. My friend and Vegas king Jeff Beacher stopped by to say hi too, always great to see him in his home town!  

Awesome time had by all!

The Hottie and Nottie Premiere

Yeah, I know it was a few months ago but seeing as how it comes out on dvd on May 6th, 

I thought Id rehash some fun photos from the premiere here in LA in February.  

My mom and dad were out for the weekend, which was filled with lots of press interviews and junkets... fun stuff but also a lot of sitting in one room answering the same questions for 12 hours.  Sort of strange too trying to find a different way to answer the same question!  

I was in a lovely suite at the Regent Beverly Wilshire (Pretty Woman hotel anyone?) and my parents and I had a great dinner there before the madness of the premiere began.  I was so happy to have all my best friends and family there with me... 

I had such a fun night and I will never forget it!

Back to the '70's with "Cindy and the Discoball"... into spandex with "Super Capers"

What it is!  Pick up what I'm about to throw down because "Cindy and The Discoball" is back at The Falcon Theater!  

The lovely Garry Marshall, and the ever-talented director Joe Bwarie have assembled us together again for a limited run of the popular 2005 family musical - think Cinderella set in 1975, all complete with original pop music and dancing- even a throw back to The Hustle!  

Everything is bigger and better this time around including our opening weekend at the Falcon, complete with a "Shag Carpet" (aka, red carpet) for press.  The celebs were in attendance with their kids, many of whom dressed up for the occasion.  It was a fantastic opening and a wonderful way to also benefit The Lollipop Theater Network, which is an organization that brings first run movies to children in hospitals.  

Very groovy indeed.

I've also been squeezing myself into a spandex superhero costume for much of the month on my new film, "Super Capers". I play this ridiculous superhero villain named Red (hence my new red hair).  

I melt things with my laser eyes and also turn invisible... handy when you've just blown up a bridge.  It's a lot of great campy fun (as evidenced by the photo) and stars some very cool people- Michael Rooker ("Jumper"), Justin Whalin ("Lois and Clark"), and even some cameos from folks like Adam West himself.  Uh, he's the original Batman in case you are not as big a nerd as I....
